Patent Attorney
Responsibilities
Specialize in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications in the field of chemical applications.
Determine potential of granting patents and monitor possibility of infringement. Responsible for preparing and filing patent applications.
Educate and counsel clients on relevant legal issues accordingly.
Develop and manage client relationships.
Provide litigation support on pending applications, as necessary.
Perform other related duties as required. JD or LLM, or foreign equivalent, in Law required.
Skills/Qualifications
One year of experience or one year of patent application related experience is required.
Must be a member of state bar.
Must have successfully passed US patent bar exam.
Must have experience preparing patents for chemical applications.
Writing sample required.
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
