Melissa J. Szanto

Melissa Szanto focuses her practice on all aspects of patent and intellectual property law, including patent preparation and prosecution, trade secrets, licensing and agreement work, client counseling, opinions and due diligence in support of investments and acquisitions. She has over 20 years of experience in the medical device field having supported various Johnson & Johnson operating companies with medical technology ranging from implants and robotics to optics and vision science. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, she spent time as an associate with the law firm of Baker Botts, focusing on litigation and licensing primarily for clients in the computer industry.
