Law Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Assist lawyers with preparation of patent prosecution related papers for submission to USPTO.

  • Assist lawyers with conducting interviews with patent examiners.

  • Assist with preparation of patent applications and responses to Official Actions.

  • Communicate orally and in writing with company clients regarding case status.

  • Conduct legal research in support of intellectual property litigation matters.

  • JD, or foreign equivalent, with concentration in Intellectual Property Law. Will accept LLM in lieu of JD degree.

Skills/Qualifications

  • One year of experience or one year of experience in any intellectual property related jobs.

  • Legal research in the field of intellectual property/patent law is required.

  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
